Welcome to Havana Nights! We're delighted to host you and hope you enjoy your stay. To ensure a comfortable and respectful environment for all, please review and adhere to the following house rules.

🚫 General Conduct
• No Parties or Events: To maintain a peaceful and respectful environment, parties and events are not allowed without prior approval from the host, Rolando.
• No Smoking or Drugs: Smoking, vaping, illegal drugs, parties, and excessive noise are prohibited inside or outside the property, including on patios and in shared spaces. Violations of the smoking policy incur a $250 fine plus cleaning and repair costs. Marijuana use is strictly prohibited.
• No Commercial Use: Commercial photography and videography without written consent are strictly prohibited.
• Illegal Activities Prohibited: Illegal activity, prostitution, and possession of firearms are strictly prohibited. If a firearm is found after check-out, you will be responsible for picking up your firearm in person.
• Agreement to House Rules: Booking a reservation constitutes agreement to comply with these House Rules. Violations will result in liability for any associated damages, fees, costs, or expenses.

🔇 Quiet Hours
• Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM daily.
• Neighbor Respect: Please respect our neighbors.

🕒 Check-In/Check-Out
• Check-In: 4 PM
• Check-Out: 10 AM
• Before Departure:
• Please clean all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, and leave them to dry prior to checking out.
• Please leave the sheets on the bed when leaving.
• If you came with a pet or service animal, please use the lint roller to remove fur.
• Late check-outs may incur additional fees.
• Please do not take any appliances, cleaning supplies, or towels/linens upon departure.
• Any missing items will incur a charge based on what was taken and will be deducted from the deposit.
• The only items that can be taken are from the “Forget Something” basket under the bathroom sink.

👥 Guest Policy
• Registered Guests Only: Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.
• Guest Limits: The number of overnight guests must not exceed 4 (four). More than 4 overnight guests will lead to dismissal.
• Security Cameras: By booking, you consent to exterior cameras and Ring doorbell cameras for security.
• Guest Responsibility: Guests are responsible for damage, injury, or loss that occur on the premises. Any property damage must be reported to the host, Rolando, immediately. Unreported damages will be deducted from the security deposit or reported to the booking platform.
• Consumable Amenities: Initial supplies of amenities like toilet paper, paper towels, and toiletries are provided. Guests are responsible for replenishing these items as needed.
• Amenities: We strive to ensure all advertised amenities are in working order. If an amenity fails mechanically and cannot be used during your stay, we will refund $15 for every 24 hours the amenity is unusable, provided we are properly notified. No refunds are issued for improper use by guests.

📶 Internet Service
• Courtesy Wi-Fi: Wireless internet is provided as a courtesy.
• Service Reliability: Service may be erratic; notify us immediately if issues arise.
• No Refunds: No refunds for internet service problems.

🐾 Pets & Service Animals
• Dog Policy: We allow up to 2 house-trained dogs. Fee will be $35 per pet per night.
• Service Animals: Service animals are permitted.
• Unauthorized Pets: Unauthorized pets will incur a $200 fee; $50 if pet hair is found on linens.
• Prohibited Animals: Cats and other unauthorized pets are not allowed and will incur a fee of $200 and instant dismissal.
• Pet Relief Area: You can use the front lawn under the large tree for relief and dispose of waste in poop bags in the green bin.
Service Animal Requirements:
• If you have a service animal, please clarify if the service animal is required because of a disability.
• What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?
• You must be responsible for caring for and supervising your service animal during your stay.
• You must agree to provide your own supplies for your service animal.
• You must agree that your service animal is housebroken, can maintain control, and does not pose any threat to the health or safety of others.
• No pet fees or deposits apply for service animals. However, you are responsible for any damage or additional cleaning fees caused by your service animal.
• Please be respectful of the furnishings provided.

🧹 Cleanliness & Maintenance
• TV Remotes: There are two remotes, one for the living room and the other for the bedroom. If any TV remote is lost or stolen, there will be a $50 charge. If accidentally packed, please return within a week to avoid the charge.
• Security: Keep doors and windows locked when leaving the property.
• Damage Reporting: Report any damage or issues immediately.
• Furniture & Decor: Do not move furniture or decor without permission.
• Wall Art: Do not remove or add any new wall art.
• Trash Disposal: Dispose of trash in designated bins and follow recycling guidelines.
o The green bin is for regular trash.
o The blue bin is for recycling.

🍽️ Kitchen Use
• Cleanliness: Please clean up after yourself when using the kitchen.
• Washer/Dryer Use: The combination washer-dryer does not use dryer sheets. We have provided detergent/softener combination pods in the cabinet above the washer. Only one is needed per wash and is placed with the clothes.
• Food & Dishes: Do not leave food or dirty dishes unattended.
• Appliance Use: Turn off appliances when not in use.
• Countertops: Leave countertops dry to prevent cabinet damage.
• Cleaning Products: Use the provided cleaning products in the cabinets and request approval for any additional products.
• Refrigerator Settings: Do not change the refrigerator temperature settings without permission.
• Check-Out Cleaning: Clean and dry all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans before check-out.
• Bedding: Leave sheets on the bed upon departure.

🔒 Safety & Security
• Access Codes: Do not share access codes or keys with unregistered guests.
• Safety Equipment: Fire extinguisher is on the kitchen wall; first aid kit is in the bathroom cabinet.
• Regulations: Follow all local fire and safety regulations.

🌡️ Air Conditioning
• When Home: Set AC no lower than 72°F when home.
• When Away: Set AC to 78°F when leaving the apartment.
• Monitoring: AC usage is monitored via WiFi Nest app.

📦 Mail Forwarding and Amazon Pick-Up
• Mail Forwarding: Please do not forward any mail or packages.
• Amazon Deliveries: If you are expecting an Amazon package, the nearest Amazon Hub Locker to 11900 McGregor Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33919 is located at:
